Somin Discusses Key Questions in Split Screen Video Presentation
Professor Ilya Somin took part in an online discussion of legal issues made possible by bloggingheads.tv, an unique service that allows split screen streaming videos featuring two people in remote locations who come together onscreen to present their views.
In addition to the streaming video, the site makes available a comment section for listeners to exchange viewpoints on the discussion online, allowing for robust dialogue.
Somin appeared with Glenn Greenwald, lawyer and writer for Salon.com. The two discussed such topics as "Is the war in Libya illegal?", "Is Obama a willing hostage in the debt limit battle," and "Criticizing Obama's continuation of the war on drugs," among others.
