Byrne Attends Meeting of U.N. Commission on International Trade Law

Professor James E. Byrne attended the 45th Session of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.  Byrne’s proposal that the Commission consider undertaking further work on Commercial Fraud was accepted. This topic will be offered as a course and the subject of a one-day seminar at Mason Law in the Fall 2012 semester.  Accompanying Professor Byrne to New York was Geoffrey M. Wistow (J.D. Can., Spring 2013) who is a summer 2012 intern with the Institute of International Banking Law & Practice.
