Mossoff Takes Part in Software Patents Teleforum

On November 6, Professor Adam Mossoff participated in a software patents teleforum sponsored by the IP Practice Group of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.

The teleforum considered whether software patents advance development of new technological innovation or hinder innovation. A panel representing academic, legal, and industrial viewpoints on the topic included, in addition to Mossoff, Professor David S. Olson, Boston College Law School; Mr. Robert Sachs, Partner, Fenwick & West LLP; and Professor Mark F. Schultz, Southern Illinois University School of Law, who acted as moderator.
