Somin Participates in Cato Institute Supreme Court Symposium

On September 18, Professor Ilya Somin took part in a day-long symposium sponsored by the Cato Institute in which participants reviewed the Supreme Court’s recent term and previewed their upcoming docket for the new term.

Panels examined the health care decision, criminal law, and property rights cases from the court's last term. At the conclusion, a panel previewed the court's next term and key cases coming up, including the University of Texas affirmative action case and the 4th Amendment unreasonable search case.

The event featured such prominent speakers as former Solicitor General Paul Clement and SCOTUSblog’s Tom Goldstein.
