Davies and Byrne Speak at Transactional Lawyering Symposium

Mason Law Professors Ross Davies and James Byrne spoke during panel discussions held at the American University Business Law Review Symposium held in Washington, D.C., on April 5.

The symposium, entitled Transactional Lawyering: Theory, Practice, & Pedagogy, brought together academics and practitioners to engage in conversation addressing deal lawyers, governance, lawyering and current financial markets, current conditions in practice, transactional law, pedagogy, and the evolution of the field.

Byrne was part of a panel discussing "Business planning and legal drafting pedagogy," while Davies' panel addressed the question, "What do transactional lawyers do?"
