Eagle Speaks on Takings Cases Before SCOTUS

On February 26, Professor Steven Eagle took part in a panel discussion at a free teleconference jointly sponsored by the ABA’s Section on Litigation’s Environmental Litigation Committee and the Condemnation, Zoning, and Land Use Committee.

Discussion centered on the three takings cases on which the U.S. Supreme Court rules this Term: Arkansas Game & Fish (decided in December), Koontz (argued), and Horne (not yet argued). 

The expert panel, moderated by Dwight Merriam of Robinson & Cole, Hartford, included Eagle; Amy Boulris (Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, of Miami); Robert Meltz (Attorney-Adviser, American Law Division, Congressional Research Service and Professor of Law, Georgetown Law Center, Washington, D.C.); and Robert H.
