Somin Takes Part in Discussion of Turmoil in Egypt

Professor Ilya Somin was a guest in a July 8 HuffPost Live discussion of political turmoil in Egypt subsequent to the adoption of a constitution that did not reflect the national consensus. Host Mike Sacks led participants in a discussion centered on what lessons Egypt might take from its own missteps and the experiences of democracies around the world.

Joining Somin on the program were Daniel Landsberg-Rodriguez, Fellow at the Comparative Constitutions Project; Stanley Katz, Professor of Public & International Affairs at Princeton University; and Zaid al Ali, Senior Advisor for Constitutional Building at International IDEA.
