Kelsey Comments on Cameras in a Virginia Courtroom

Richard Kelsey, Assistant Dean for Management & Planning, commented on a judge’s decision to allow cameras to capture pretrial motions in an Alexandria case, and possibly TV cameras during the trial next year.

Kelsey said, “If [Judge Jane Roush is] suggesting that a camera in the courtroom is no different than a clock in the courtroom, then she already believes they belong there.” Also commenting on the decision was David Warrington, ’06.
