Kelsey Comments on Governor McAuliffe’s Aide

Richard Kelsey, Assistant Dean for Management & Planning, comments on reports that Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe’s chief of staff offered a job to a state senator’s daughter in an effort to get the senator not to resign. Former state senator Phil Puckett resigned last June.

In a statement, Kelsey said, “This situation raises two simple questions. If this isn’t illegal, why isn’t it illegal? And, when will this state government make it illegal?”
