Mossoff Patent Article Published in Slate
In an article appearing in Slate, Professor Adam Mossoff argues that the patent licensing business model is not a new development and 19th-century inventors also licensed their patented innovations. He writes, “[T]he ‘patent troll’ epithet would require us to condemn famous American innovators like Thomas Edison and Charles Goodyear who contributed immensely to America’s innovation economy in the 19th century.”
