Newman’s Article Selected by Intellectual Property Law Review as One of Year’s Best

An article written by Professor Christopher Newman has been named by the Intellectual Property Law Review as one of the past year’s best articles. The chosen article, “An Exclusive License is Not an Assignment: Disentangling Divisibility and Transferability of Ownership in Copyrights,” was originally published in 2013 in the Louisiana Law Review and will be included in the 2014 edition of Intellectual Property Law Review.

Intellectual Property Law Review is an annual anthology published by Thomson Reuters. Each year, from law review articles published on the topic of intellectual property law, only about 15 to 20 are selected for inclusion in the anthology.
