Somin a Panelist in NYU Law Conference

On February 10, Professor Ilya Somin was a panelist in a conference that discussed The Classical Liberal Constitution: The Uncertain Quest for Limited Government, a new book by Professor Richard A. Epstein, Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law and Director of the Classical Liberal Institute at NYU Law.

The event was co-sponsored by the Classical Liberal Institute at NYU Law and the NYU Journal of Law and Liberty.

Somin took part in a panel discussion that evaluated the classical liberal constitution's theory of individual rights—including property, liberty, contract, speech, religion, and equal protection. Appearing with him as panelists were Daryl Levinson and Deborah Malamud of NYU School of Law and Thomas Merrill of Columbia Law School. Christopher Sprigman of NYU School of Law was moderator of the discussion.
