Somin on FX’s The Americans
Professor Ilya Somin comments on the portrayal of communism in FX’s The Americans, a television show about spies from the Soviet Union who are living in the United States during the 1980s. Somin says, “From a political perspective as opposed to an artistic one, I think it deserves credit for the way it portrays Communism generally, and the KGB specifically.”
