National Law Journal: Krauss on Ethics of Crowdfunding

Professor Michael Krauss comments in an article in the National Law Journal on the use of crowdfunding to finance social justice litigation.


Michael Krauss, an ethics professor at George Mason University School of Law, said the rise of litigation financing raises serious questions pertaining to conflicts and other issues, but crowdfunding, whether used for commercial cases or social justice matters, poses no additional ethics problems. "There's not much of a distinction," he said.
