Mossoff’s Property Law Article Among the Most Cited in the Last 25 Years
An article by Professor Adam Mossoff has ranked 25th in a recent study on the top 25 most cited articles in property law published since 1990.
The study, conducted by Professor Ted Sichelman from the University of San Diego School of Law, reviewed total citation counts of law journal articles published in the last 25 years on real property.
Mossoff’s article, “What Is Property – Putting the Pieces Back Together,” was published in the Arizona Law Review in 2003. The article advances an integrated theory of property that combines the exclusive rights to acquire, use, and dispose of one’s possessions into a broad concept of property.
