Somin Discusses New Book at Eminent Domain Symposium

On Friday, February 6, Professor Ilya Somin presented at the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Richard E. Nelson Symposium on “Kelo’s First Decade: The Eminent Domain (R)evolution.”

Somin spoke in a panel on “The Changing Legislative and Constitutional Landscape.” His talk was based on his forthcoming book The Grasping Hand: Kelo v. City of New London and the Limits of Eminent Domain.

Joining Somin on the panel was Institute for Justice senior attorney Scott G. Bullock, who argued the case of Kelo v. City of New London before the U.S. Supreme Court.
