Rao Appointed to ABA Leadership Position
Professor Neomi Rao was appointed Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Regulatory Policy Committee, part of the Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice.
The Regulatory Policy Committee is concerned with proposed federal legislation and Executive Orders generally affecting the administrative process, including proposed amendments to the Administrative Procedure Act, deregulation, and regulatory reform initiatives.
Rao teaches courses in constitutional law and legislation and statutory interpretation. She is also the Director of the recently launched Center for the Study of the Administrative State, part of George Mason University School of Law. The first of its kind, the Center will examine the administrative state as a whole, its constitutional foundations, and its political and economic impacts.
