Professor Robert Luther III recently published a new essay in the George Mason Law Review Forum addressing the misconceptions that can deter law students from pursuing federal judicial clerkships. The publication comes as Luther celebrates a significant milestone: since 2019, over 200 of his former students have successfully secured federal judicial clerkships. It also offers sage advice for law students considering whether to pursue a judicial clerkship.

Robert Luther III is an Associate Professor of Law at the Antonin Scalia Law School and the founder of Constitutional Solutions PLLC. Prior to his academic career, he served as Associate Counsel to the President in the White House Counsel's Office. At Scalia Law, he teaches Constitutional Law, Legal Writing for Law Clerks (discussed in the essay), and Legislation & Statutory Interpretation.
