The GMU Patriot Computers Store is a good source for academic pricing on computers, printers, software, and a variety of accessories. They are a unit of the university's ITU department and are located on the Fairfax campus on the first floor of the Johnson Center. Their website is not always up-to-date on pricing, so be sure to give them a call at 703-993-4100 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students who are currently enrolled have free access to Microsoft Office through MasonLive. Students may download the software from MasonLive on up to to five computers and five mobile devices.
The university provides faculty and staff with free licenses to a variety of Microsoft products for use on GMU-owned computers. In addition, Patriot Computers has particularly good pricing on Adobe products. Full-time law faculty who are interested in making a computer or software purchase from their professional development account should contact Deborah Keene at email@example.com.
Free Anti-Virus Software
The University provides all current members of the university community with a free copy of Symantec (Norton) AntiVirus Software.
