Biographical Sketch
Edwin A. Perry joined the Scalia Law faculty in the fall of 2016. He regularly teaches Appellate Writing (LRWA III), and Legislative & Regulatory Drafting (LRWA IV). Professor Perry is a Supervisory Trial Attorney with the Department of Defense’s Military Commission Defense Organization and detailed to a team representing alleged 9/11 co-conspirator Walid bin ’Atash before the Military Commission at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
From 2003-2015, Professor Perry was an assistant federal public defender in Memphis, Tennessee. From 2001-2003, Professor Perry was a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
