Class of 2020 Gets Long-Awaited In-Person Celebration
On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the Class of 2020 reunited for an in-person celebration of their graduation on the Arlington campus. Surrounded by family and friends, class of 2020 graduates—who missed a traditional ceremony due to COVID restrictions—were finally able to don regalia, have their name read aloud by Professor Paolo Saguato, and shake Dean Randall’s hand on a stage. Other graduates skipped the pomp and circumstance of the commemorative ceremony and headed directly to a lively atrium reception with their friends and family. Faculty and staff were delighted to reconnect with these graduates and to be able to celebrate their accomplishments face-to-face at long last.
