Congratulations Graduates!
On May 17, 2025, the Antonin Scalia Law School proudly celebrated the achievements of its newest alumni at George Mason’s Center for the Arts in Fairfax, Virginia. Families, friends, and distinguished guests joined together in honoring graduates from the Juris Doctor (JD), Juris Master (JM), and Master of Laws (LLM) programs as they marked this significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys.
The Honorable Wesley G. Russell (JD ’95), Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, enriched the ceremony with his heartfelt keynote address. Representing their peers, student speakers included: Dioulde Diallo (JM), Sulaiman Safi (LLM), Jacob Michael Hooper (JD Day), Evangelos Razis (JD Evening), and Samuel Turley (President, Student Bar Association). The JD graduates selected Professor Paolo Saguato to deliver inspiring remarks as the faculty speaker for the JD class, while Professor Aurafe Nayna Malayang-Diehl offered wisdom to the JM and LLM graduates.
Before the festivities, graduates embraced the beautiful spring day — made a bit hot by the regalia — to capture a group photo. The celebrations continued after the ceremony, with refreshments and joyful conversations enhancing this momentous occasion.
