Annamaria Nields

Biographical Sketch

Annamaria Nields is Associate Dean for Student Affairs & Academic Support, joining the law school in 2006 as Director of Student Academic Affairs, and in 2007 became Assistant Dean for Academic Administration. In June 2012, she was promoted to Associate Dean for Administration and Student Affairs. As Associate Dean, she is a member of the senior management team of the law school, and manages the administration of academic programs, accreditation matters, and student affairs.  Prior to joining the law school staff, Ms. Nields practiced labor and employment law at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Virginia and DC Bars.
