Responsibilities

Rob manages the Law Library’s faculty liaison program and provides library services to faculty, including SSRN and TWEN support. He also develops, designs, and maintains content for the law school and law library website. He works closely with the Associate Dean for Admissions and Enrollment Management and the Associate Dean for External Affairs and designs an array of print and digital marketing and related materials for the law school. Rob also manages the law school’s social media accounts. He designs materials for departments and centers across the law school, including logos, posters, signs, and more. 

He teaches Professional Responsibility in the LLM program and also teaches research instruction in the Legal Research, Writing and Analysis program and in writing seminars. He provides individual research instruction to students in the Scholarly Writing program. In the Reference Office, he offers reference and research services to law school faculty, staff, students, and alumni. 

Rob has written on how legal scholars can increase their chances of writing impactful papers. He has also explored legal scholarship rankings and co-authored an article explaining how they might be made more impactful and inclusive, draft available on SSRN. Rob and his colleagues recently released their own legal scholarship ranking, a draft of which is available on SSRN. He is currently exploring the adoption of visual contracts in the United States.
