Law & Economics Center Hosts Symposium on the Pharmaceutical Industry

The Law & Economics Center hosted a two-day symposium on today’s legal, economic, and regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical industry. The symposium explored the complex economic and regulatory issues underlying the cases brought by private litigants and federal and state prosecutors.

Participants heard from some of the nation’s leading experts on pharmaceutical development, distribution, and marketing. Panelists, representing a broad range of perspectives, informed the debates over drug pricing, advertising, products liability, fraud, and antitrust.
