Scalia Law School Mourns the Passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

With the rest of the nation, we mourn the passing of the inimitable Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justice Ginsburg was a pioneer for women in law and will continue to be a role model for law students, lawyers, judges, and justices for generations to come. Justice Ginsburg enjoyed an extraordinary friendship with Justice Antonin Scalia. We were honored when Justice Ginsburg graciously participated in our gala celebration of the naming of Antonin Scalia Law School in October 2016. She was a great jurist, a great woman, and she served this nation with honor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Justice Ginsburg's family and friends, and her fellow justices.
