J. Shahar Dillbary to Present at Two European Law & Economics Conferences

Scalia Law Associate Dean of Faculty Research and Professor of Law J. Shahar Dillbary will present at two conferences taking place in Europe in the coming months. In April, Professor Dillbary will present at the prestigious and selective 11th Annual International Meeting in Law & Economics. The event takes place at the College of Europe in Belgium and features eight thematic sessions, with two papers each. This summer, Professor Dillbary will give one of two keynote speeches at the German Law and Economics Association (GLEA) Annual Conference. The University of Hamburg will host the 21st installment of this highly-regarded conference from July 18–19.

Professor Dillbary recently joined Scalia Law after a distinguished tenure at the University of Alabama School of Law. Professor Dillbary has published widely in top journals and recently co-authored Law and Economics: Theory, Cases, and Other Materials. In his short time at Scalia Law, Professor Dillbary has already had a significant impact on the community, including the launch of his popular “Break-fests,” a series of community building events.
