George Mason University has recognized Professor Paolo Saguato as a Teacher of Distinction, honoring his excellence in the classroom and positive impact on students.

The recognition is especially notable because Professor Saguato is the only full-time law faculty member to receive the honor in the past 15 years, underscoring both the significance of the award and the strength of his teaching.

Professor Saguato is a professor of law and the founder and director of the Program on Financial Markets. He teaches courses in financial regulation, business associations, and securities and derivatives regulation.

Through both his scholarship and his teaching, Saguato has played a leading role in helping students understand the complexities of modern financial markets and regulatory systems.

His recognition reflects the strength of Scalia Law’s faculty and the school’s broader commitment to academic excellence and exceptional teaching.
