The J. Reuben Clark Law Society at Scalia Law is a student chapter of the international professional organization. The society seeks to encourage high moral and professional standards throughout the legal profession; and serve the professional needs of its members. In pursuing these objectives, the Society draws on the philosophy and personal example of J. Reuben Clark. The Society emphasizes three basic values and attitudes toward the practice of law and the place of law in modern society: public service, loyalty to the rule of the law and to the Constitution of the United States, and appreciation for the religious dimension in both American society and in a lawyer's personal life.
